Maria Migliazza

Since 2000 Maria Migliazza is Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Communication & Performance Sciences, Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM of Milan.
She formerly taught Private Law and European Union Law at the Faculty of Languages and Foreign Literatures, I.U.L.M. University of Milan, from 1985 to 1990.
Afterwards, in 1990, she became Researcher of European Union Law, teaching at the Faculty of Languages and Foreign Literatures and of Public Relations, I.U.L.M. University of Milan.
Since 1995, she has the chair of European Union Law at the Faculty of Communication & Performance Sciences, Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM, Degree in Public Relations.
In 2000 Maria Migliazza became Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Communication & Performance Sciences, Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM of Milan.
From the academic year 1996/1997 to the academic year 2002/2003, she gave lessons for the “Project Jean Monnet of Droit Communautaire: “Le développement de l’intégration européenne”, directed by Prof. Fausto Pocar, about Institutional European themes and about the Information and Communication right in the European Union Law.
She took part in the Project CNR 2000 (organized by IULM University and Università degli Studi of Milan) “Multiculturalismo, identità e diritti umani nell’area euromediterranea”, in which she was a member of the local Unit of research concerning “Trattamento e diritti dei migranti nelle relazioni fra l’Unione europea e i Paesi dell’area mediterranea”.
During the academic year 2003-2004 she concluded the Project “I diritti individuali nell’Unione europea” and started the new individual Project “Information and privacy. Universal and European rights”, also coordinating a group of researchers.
At present she is member of the MIUR Project “The ethics of “Equity” in law and literature in the framing of modern consciousness”.
From the first of June 2001 to 31 October 2006, she was Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Law Sciences at the Libera Università IULM of Milan.
