Paola Baseotto

Paola Baseotto teaches English at Università degli Studi dell’Insubria (Como). She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Reading.
Her research interests centre mainly on the works of Edmund Spenser and on theological and medical tracts in the Renaissance period.
She is the author of articles for academic journals and of the volume Fighting for God, Queen, and Country: Spenser and the Morality of Violence.
She is currently completing a book for ibidem-Verlag on representations of death by early modern poets, theologians and moral philosophers.
